TACK has a modern and market-based infrastructure to ensure a perfect cleaning.

From 1960 until 2000

When Mr. Remi Tack ended his flax activity at the end of the 1960s and concentrated on a new activity, namely cleaning services, he still was one of the pioneers in terms of Car & Truck Wash in his region.

Soon this service was expanded with Tank (car) cleaning.
In 1972, the cleaning business became equipped with a fully automatic cleaning system and in subsequent years it became a professional tank cleaning.
Meanwhile, the second generation became active in the company.

The new impulse led in 1989 to the acquisition of a second branch in Zeebrugge, after which the cleaning service was extended to a Total-Tank Service:

Internal and external cleaning of tank containers, tankers and bulk carriers
Renting & storage of tank containers (ISO tanks)
Heating of tank containers and road tankers
Repair, maintenance and treatment of empty and full containers

Today

Meanwhile TACK has been a member of CTC (=National Association of tank cleaning companies) for many years.

When at the end of the 80s environmental issues on various industrial activities increasingly occurred, TACK was again one of the first to use a required (expanded) wastewater treatment plant.
This (new) activity was quickly expanded into a full service, which was housed in a specialised section, namely Waste Waters. This department is recognized as a processor/collector/transporter of waste and full-time focuses on the collecting and treating of wastewater (waste).

This allows us to offer a wide range of processing capabilities for the treatment of waste from outside companies.

The waste comes from various industrial sectors such as:
• Food and feed mills
• Carpet Industry
• Chemical companies
• Metal processing and metalworking companies
• Pharmaceutical industry
• Landfills

The waste may be delivered or picked up in the companies through authorized collectors or transporters of waste.

Each year more than 70,000 tonnes of external waste is processed.

When in 1999 the third generation made its appearance within the company, a connecting activity in Estaimpuis was immediately taken over. This led to the REMI TACK SA, dedicated to the reconditioning (= cleaning & trading) of industrial, liquid packaging.

In the years 2000 the different divisions gained the quality label ISO9001:2008 , SQAS Oostrozebeke en Zeebrugge , Kosher cleaning.

Through acquisitions (in 2007) of tank cleaning activities of other companies, the service range of this activity, both in Belgium and the Netherlands, was greatly extended.
